Custom Trucking Business Card Design for Midkiff Logistics LLC
Midkiff Logistics LLC, owned by Brian Midkiff, provides vehicle transport, equipment hauling, general freight, and hotshot, local and long-distance hauling.
In trucking, a business card does more than share a phone number — brokers, shippers and customers look for the company’s identity and credentials before they trust it with a load.
The Objective
The objective was a professional card where every detail is accurate: the owner’s name, the business phone number, the USDOT number and the actual truck and trailer the company runs. A recognizable vehicle and a strong company identity help the business look established from the first handshake.
Design Choices
The real rig
The front shows a red Chevrolet pickup with a black Big Tex gooseneck flatbed trailer, the setup customers can expect to see.
Patriotic ML crest
A navy and red “ML” monogram with wings and stars, paired with the tagline “Delivering Mission. Delivering Value.”, gives the company a memorable mark.
Credentials up front
USDOT #4537281 sits in the footer bar beside the phone number, where shippers and brokers expect to find it.
Owner name and title
“Brian Midkiff — Owner” appears in the header so customers know exactly who they are working with.
Four service icons
Vehicle transport, equipment hauling, general freight, and hotshot / local & long-distance hauling are presented as simple icons.
The Completed Work
- Zaxx Card Lab designed a two-sided business card: a front combining the vehicle imagery, owner details, services, phone number (540) 643-6185 and USDOT number, and a back dedicated to the ML crest logo.
